Just got back from KVIS and obtained the FAA ADS-B performance report on the unit and it shows no "RED FLAGS" and NO discrepancies !!! The uAvionixs ADS-B worked as advertised right out of the gate . BING , BANG , BOOM !!

Great ADSB discussion. I now have enough confidence to order my Stratus tonight!

Anyone else having "air on ground" faults with their ADSB performance checks? Stopped by the FAA booth at OSH and they pulled up my report history. About every other flight failed for showing in flight while on the ground. Garmin says it is an installation error while my avionics shop says I taxi too fast. While I did about burn up a set off brakes to get my rebate, I really don't think my taxi speed is excessive. What be your experiences?

My unit allows me to configure the ground/air speed, I set it for 30 kts, I don't think I would taxi that fast.

So far I have not had a problem with "air on ground" faults as most of the airports I fly to are not visible to an ADS-B tower.

Note: I have a uAvionix EchoUAT unit.

Unfortunately, the closest ADS-B tower is about 100 yards from my hangar. Good news is that I get TIS in in the hangar.

I was having the same thing with my Stratus. In fact, the Friendly FAA folks pointed it out last year at OshKosh. So the issue is whether or not you pause once leaving the runway. They said it will be an issue someday after they solve bigger issues. So now, once I power up, I wait for the GND cue. Then after I land, I do the same. Alternatively, you could set a higher taxi speed.
Funny that the same FAA folks told me Garmin solved the issues by also requiring a zero VVI.
