Has anyone here seen this? I was visiting an uncle last week and he showed me his homemade ADS-B in receiver. It connects via wifi to your tablet and works with most of the major apps that are available. I figured for $100, why not give it a shot. I thought I would share in case someone else finds it intriguing

Mine was $113.00 from Amazon and works great.
Looking at a 3D printer for making a nice enclosure.

I'm building a similar one this week. I'll let you know how it turns out.

I just built one last weekend for iFly running on an iPad Air. Works fine.

Dave, let me know if you start makin enclosures! Built mine a couple of weeks ago, works just as well for ads-b weather as the Garmin GDL-39 we tested it side by side with. Added gps/ahrs to mine this week. Seems like they have a ways to go on that.

I finally finished mine. All said and done, I have $173 in it, which is still around 25% of the cost of an off the shelf unit. All that's left is a flight test.
