Just had the 24 month transponder check done . It was spot on for the test , however he noted that the antenna ( I have one of the stainless steel "stubs") had a little smooze on it and he could tell by the fact the tester would hit a "dead spot ." A little scotch brite and it cleared the problem right up . Something to check if you haven't cleaned the little pole in a while ! ???
