Post subject:  Home built or Factory built?

I am not familar with the T-211. I tried a search and found factory built and plans built. Can someone shead some light for me. I would perfer a home built. Thanks

I don't know much about the 211, but I believe you can buy a factory built or scratch built it from plans. I don't see or hear about them much. Hopefully somebody on here can shed some light for us. I am intrigued by them because I like the idea of flying with the open canopy.

The t211 or "sky scooter" was first a production airplane with a very short run and later in the 80's again offered as a production airplane (also short lived). After that it was offered as kit (short life there too) and again more recently as an LSA the "thorppedo". The sky scooter is not a plans built airplane.
